The destructive force of the moderate independents

The nice people who make up the moderate independents are destroying the country.

Nice people believe in the goodness of the government, the honesty of the press, and benevolent intentions of the Left. These notions are now relics of a time long past or maybe never was. It’s the Left that continues to demonstrate that their ends justify any of their means in their pursuit of power. The freedoms of our Constitutional Republic will be lost unless the moderate independents experience a reality check and flush the scoundrels who are abusing their good nature to ruin the country. Moderates who allow their inherent trust and gullible assumptions to be used as shields for government malfeasance are the major obstacle for any reform. The tragedy is that they don’t even know they are part of the problem. Is this debatable at this point? Recent events have shown how corrupt government officials and their media collaborators keep the moderates unaware of or unconcerned about their malfeasance.

The Congressional Oversight Committee released documents and held a press conference to publicize their findings into President Biden’s foreign money operation during his time as Vice President. The findings were overwhelming and backed by bank records and money transfer receipts. Millions of dollars flowed from foreign sources (China, Ukraine, Romania, etc.) through at least twenty shell corporations involving multiple family members. Graft is the Biden Family business and Joe Biden was the product with government access and favorable actions for sale; there is no other product offered by any of the Biden corporations. Hunter’s laptop documents were real and corroborated the corruption as well. Even with a trove of bank records and more, nothing happens; no justice inquiries, no follow-up actions, no special prosecutor, no legacy media stories, no public outrage, no nothing. There was a media blackout of the press conference followed by stories downplaying the information or attacking the Republicans. To provide cover, the DOJ held a simultaneous news conference announcing that Representative Santos (R) was being indicted. Strong condemnations from leading Democrats effectively ended the story by intimidation of the opinion-makers and moderates. The moderate independents trusted the media and the Democrats to completely ignore the Biden corruption if they heard anything at all about it. The corrupt media and Democrat leaders assure the moderates that there is nothing to see here, just the President selling out the country for money.

Next the Durham Report was released. It is the result from the special investigation into the Trump Russian Collusion Hoax. Although most documents showing abuse of power by the FBI, FISA courts, and Intelligence Agencies have been made public, the Durham Report had more inside government documents that were damning to the government and Democrats; it destroys any flicker of legitimacy for the Russian Collusion story. The Russian Collusion Hoax consisted of only fabricated stories from the Hillary campaign that were used to abuse Trump and bring deep corruption to the DOJ and FBI. Moreover, the hoaxers needed complete cooperation of all the big media outlets and did receive obedient media cooperation. Despite all the powerful evidence of government corruption, the Durham Report got the same treatment as the Oversight Committee releases due to media assistance and powerful denials. Dutiful independents fall in line and pay no attention as directed if they heard about it at all. Again, moderates continue to be deceived by the massive corruption of the government and complicit media. This collaboration certainly ruined many lives, affected two presidential campaigns and the functioning of a duly elected presidential administration. The deceptions continue as swing voters have blinders on. Nothing to see here they are told, so they don’t look.

These two examples of powerful crooked people and their massive, country-destroying corruption will not face justice under current circumstances because moderates continue to side with the deceitful Left. So why do the nice moderates get this blame and not the corrupt characters themselves? Simply put, there will always be corrupt people doing corrupt things. Fair and just countries have processes that can bring the corrupt people to justice. When the nice moderates give blind trust to the undeserving dishonest people, the ability to stop corruption is lost. Undeterred corruption will increase exponentially. When a government department is run by corrupt people, the department can only be saved by removing all the corrupt people and their underlings; new rules are useless. The nice and trusting moderates give amnesty to the crooked by ignoring all evidence to the contrary, while glowing in their misplaced virtue. This produces a voting majority that provides political cover for the dirty, big-government Leftists.

What can be done to trigger a great awakening of the moderate independents? This is a serious debate that is sorely needed. Ironically, President Biden and the Democrats are doing the most to sway moderates at this time. As they run the country into the ground with high inflation, soaring crime rates, economic turmoil, open borders, bad energy policy, endless mandates, and more, the suffering brought on by our lower standard of living is waking up many people. However, wrecking the country is a dreadful way to fight corruption, but here we are.

Alternatively, a direct confrontation of these moderates is not effective. It only makes people more resistant to change as they put up mental barriers when their happy notions are challenged. Write all the data-ladened, logical non-fiction books you can, the moderates will not read them. Lecture, argue, and pester them, but know that it will not work.

There is a substantial barrier that must be crossed to reach these people. The years of emotional manipulation and opinion grooming from the media has created an enormous mental wall of instilled feelings that is very powerful. It is these deeply embedded feelings that assures the moderate that all government is good, conservatives are evil, and the media is objectively truthful. All we can do is slowly drip in seeds of contrary facts that can hopefully take root and generate new thinking. Also, talking with them confidently and calmly about events that conflict with their emotional perceptions can lead to introspection and thought. These methods are slow and must compete with the raging torrent of fake news and corrupt government commentary. Right now, it seems most likely that either the crooks will win, or that the country will suffer terribly to trigger the uprising of the moderate independents to bring victory over the corruption. To all the nice moderate independents out there, how much destruction is needed for you to open your eyes to see who the actual bad actors are?
